UPSC Exams in India
UPSC Exams are conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruiting the eligible candidates under various government departments.
UPSC Exams for the different posts are administered in two parts, first is Preliminary Exam and the second is Mains Exam. Candidates who wish to make up their career in reputed Government firms usually opts the UPSC Exams.
Union Public Service Commission is located in New Delhi and is authorized to conduct the recruitment exams for the various government departments. UPSC Exams are considered as one of the toughest exam organized in India. Lakhs of candidates apply for this exam per year but only few get selected.
The first Public Service Commission was established on 1st October 1926.
Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Exams
Name of the Exam: Civil Services Exam
1. Candidate must hold the Degree in the concerned filed affiliated from a recognized University or its equivalent.
2. Age of the candidates should be 21 to 30 years as on 1st August of the year of examination.
